WYZA strengthens Senior Executive with appointment of General Manager Insurance

  • Ms Liz Walden joins WYZA in the newly created role of General Manager Insurance -  Commercialisation & Product, strengthening group leadership
  • Ms Walden has spent 20 years leading innovation and driving marketing, product strategies and commercial growth for major organisations and new startups in Australia and the Netherlands. Ms Walden has previously held senior executive roles with Hollard Financial Services, Insurance Line and Lend Lease.  

WYZA Limited, Australia’s leading digital discovery platform for Australians over 50, is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Walden as General Manager Insurance - Commercialisation & Product.

 

The appointment strengthens group leadership at a time when WYZA is targeting expansion of its B2C Insurance Products and is a reflection of the Company's rapid growth over the last two years.

 

Ms Walden has held senior executive roles at Australian and the Netherlands companies including s Head of Marketing - Hollard Financial Services; General Manager Marketing - Insurance Line / TAL; Head of Manager Direct Marketing - MLC / Lend Lease; as well as developing WaldenWood Group, a full-service marketing consultancy servicing the financial services sector.  

 

Ms Walden brings extensive experience of building businesses from start-up through to national scale in standalone businesses as well as within larger corporate environments.

 

Ms Walden’s clients have included Westpac, ING, Real Insurance, MetLife, CUNA Mutual, The Doctors Health Fund, Amway Financial Services, Manchester Unity, MBF, Allianz Australia and others.
